Please note that a limited number of late-news papers will be accepted, for poster presentation only, until April 16th.

The organizers of Microneedles 2012 invite contributions describing the latest scientific, technological and clinical results relating to microneedle technologies. Both oral and poster contributions are invited. Submissions from graduate students and early-stage researchers are particularly welcome. Topics include, but are not restricted to:

  • Design and technology

  • Clinical and pre-clinical results

  • Fabrication and materials

  • Coatings and formulation

  • Drug and vaccine delivery

  • Sensors and electrodes

  • Skin biomechanics

  • Immunology

  • Packaging and deployment

  • Regulatory Issues

Authors are asked to submit a one-page abstract that concisely describes their contribution to the field. Please use the template supplied (available for download in Word format here), convert your abstract to PDF format and upload using the EasyChair online system. During the electronic submission process you will be asked to indicate your preference for oral or poster contribution.

Flash Poster Presentations:

Note that selected poster authors will be asked to present poster highlights in a rapid oral format (Flash presentation). The author will be allowed a maximum of three slides and five minutes in which the key point of the paper should be highlighted.  The goal of this rapid communication is to inform the audience of the poster topic, and to provoke interest during the subsequent poster session.
