Following on from a very successful first meeting, (Georgia Tech, May 2010), the 2nd International Conference on Microneedles will be hosted in Cork (Ireland) during May 13-15th 2012. Showcasing the latest international developments in microneedle technology and applications, the gathering will provide a platform to facilitate interdisciplinary communications and new collaborations for delegates from academic, industrial and clinical backgrounds. Microneedle technology is a fascinating and challenging field of research and development. It is highly multidisciplinary, requiring input from all biomedical, scientific and engineering disciplines, together with relevant pharmaceutical, clinical and regulatory expertise. Microneedles 2012 will foster this exchange of ideas in a relaxed and informal setting. Keynote speakers in selected fields of microneedle technology will present exciting recent developments and their future visions. A half-day school on microneedle technology and applications will be held prior to the conference, and early-stage researchers will be particularly welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you in Cork for Microneedles 2012! Update April 27th 2012: * Registration still open! * Keynote and Invited Speaker details.
